Broadcast on KSFS Radio, San Francisco Italian-American Radio Program "Crave" Starts Their Third Season

The third season of the radio program managed by the Department of Broadcast & Electronic Communication Arts of San Francisco State University starts today, September 13. The program is called “Crave” and airs live on KSFS Radio every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PST (local time), from 7.30 to 8.30 pm (Italian time). It can be listened to in every part of the world by connecting to the website becamedia.net.

The name of the radio show is inspired by the main theme of the project, which is craving something and being passionate about it.

This new season of Crave will have various hosts and guests that will share their passions and experiences with the help and supervision of the professor and journalist Elaine Leung. They will talk about many topics starting from Italian culture and lifestyle to San Francisco and even football.

Specifically, Samantha Ferro, host and producer, is an Italian from Milan. Ferro has already worked in the communication and entertainment industry. She now lives in San Francisco and comes back for this new season to share her passion for the Italian lifestyle, culture, cuisine and art. Pauline Fitzgerald, a new addition to the team, is a journalist of Italian origin that will help Samantha share their passion for Italy. Jenna Venuti, another new addition to the team, is a sound engineer of Sicilian origin that will deal with the technical side of the program. Venuti will speak about self-empowerment and inner search. Alex Lopez comes back on this third season and will talk about American football and the 49ers. Also, Jennifer Gee returns in this third season as a co-producer and will take care of the post-production of the program. (aise)
